"We got there a little before check in…we waited for nearly 2 hours until a room was ready. They did explain that they were short on housekeeping, however there was no compensation "

"The Galt House has undergone a major transformation since the last time my husband and I stayed there...it is beautiful! Our only complaint is that we ordered room service, and our food was not inexpensive (78.00 for breakfast and 98.00 for late dinner). The food had great flavor but for the price, we were disappointed that it was lukewarm to cold and served in to-go containers as opposed to real tableware. Our coffee for breakfast was like ice coffee."

"The first room we were assigned still had their trash and belongings and was obviously not cleaned (their bags were still in the room, the bed was used/linens everywhere) The second and last room they had that we were assigned had a door that did not lock. This meant we had to pack all of our belongings into the car every time we left the room and crossed our fingers that we wouldn’t find strangers in our bed upon our return. Very very dirty. Sticky counters, dirty rugs, dripping walls, roaches and roach droppings. Hotel is also a halfway house/homeless shelter. The residents for the most part left us alone except for the ones that loitered outside, but I felt so unsafe. The hotel staff was not trained and unprofessional. I believe they were people from the halfway house who were hired (which is great for the community but not the type of person I want to attempt to communicate with when something is wrong). Not updated (and seemingly not deep cleaned) since the 70s. The air in the room took about 2 days to turn on, it only worked out last day there. Every time we passed the front desk, there were others who rented who tried pleading with front desk for help, but their words fell upon deaf ears (I’ve heard a couple tell them they were suffocating due to lack of airflow because the HVAC wasn’t working, I saw a woman tell them she had dirty linens and dirty towels with hair in it, I saw a couple tell them their room they were assigned was dirty)"

"Everything was great besides the noise. All sounds are heard through the walls. There were people walking/running loudly above us until 11 pm. The front desk asked if it was our kids but we had literally just checked into our room. I’m assuming the loud room wasn’t talked to. "

"Only complaint is when i booked it said free parking. Then saw a $40 charge for parking on my checkout receipt "

"Clean room, friendly staff, sucks you have to pay for parking but was still a nice hotel and quiet which I can appreciate. "

"Parking was easy and room was fine for what we needed. Bathroom was small and not very well built. Complementary breakfast left a lot to be desired, and coffee was definitely not very good. Overall, it served it's purpose and that is all we needed. "
