"Great views, loved the chairs and the fire pit, Jack was friendly and welcoming. He gave a great recommendation for dinner. Wish we could have stayed longer but we will definitely be back."

"The room was clean, comparable to a motel 6. The room service was nice, the staff was prompt and friendly. The main perk is this hotel shares the same grounds and accommodations as The Cavalier Resort. The evening staff were very welcoming and attentive. Loved the fresh baked cookies at check-in. The morning staff weren't rude, just not as enthusiastic as the others. Wi-Fi was good. The attached restaurant was amazing, also is where your room service comes from. Would definitely recommend and visit again, this is a good budget and family friendly choice."

"I really wanted to love this stay, but ultimately I did not. It's a nice property and a historic site. Beautiful grounds and right outside Cambria. Two to three minute drive. A five-minute walk if you want to use a steep, long staircase. Food was good. The lounge is nice, but the entertainment varies. The service was terrible. I requested someone to come and lift the Murphy bed back in place. A man came, but said he could only lower it. He could not raise it. On the morning we checked out, we requested coffee from the restaurant, but that's not something the offer. I then requested more coffee for the room (it comes in packets, like tea). Nothing came, I requested again. I called four times before someone finally dropped it off shortly before checkout. I want to give them another try. It's a unique experience with nice, if rustic, accommodations. But I'll go with a more self-sufficient mindset. Service is spotty, at best."

"The room itself is beautiful but there aren’t enough stuffs. Very limited service and the breakfast menu is very basic. The hotel doesn’t have any elevator and not convenient for disabled travelers. You need to carry your bags through the stairs. Overall, okay deal but don’t expect anything special!"

"I made a last minute solo trip to stay at this lovely hotel and I also booked a Swedish massage. The hotel staff were very friendly, welcoming and provided advice on where to go for dinner what to do. They were even able to provide an early check-in after my massage. The spa was so relaxing. I had the place to myself and relaxed at the jacuzzi. Although this hotel is next to a main road I didn’t hear the noise from cars while at the jacuzzi or in my room. I slept very well too. I highly recommend staying here."
