"The resort is surrounded by nature, very quiet and peaceful - perfect if that’s what you’re looking for. It can be a bit inconvenient without a car, but there’s a bus stop right in front of the hotel that runs at specific times and goes to the nearest train station, Shiojiri. "Booked very last minute and paid more than i planned but it was actually worth it. Its a traditional Japanese style hotel. Slippers / socks only once arrive. Free ramen at night and soft drinks. Rooms are exceptionally well equipped with no noise disturbance. Staff very helpful and welcoming and only 5mins walk from station and a wide variety of restaurants. Didnt use the pool or breakfast but both seemed very popular. And you get traditional pj’s to wear whilst in public areas and your room"
