"Easy checkin, clean room, great staff. Location is across the street from USJ, part of the CityWalk. Train station is just outside the hotel, next to CityWalk."
"Everything was great! Nice and clean! Breakfast buffet was definitely worth it and it’s right next to a train station as well as universal studios. Staff was kind and understanding "
"It’s a beautiful property in a great location. Staff are very nice. I have a couple complaints, which is why I tagged it as low as I did.
1. They provide two small bottles of water. To get more I had to call room service and pay for them. I’ve stayed at many hotels in Japan for a third the price that provide as much water as you need.
2. Same thing with coffee. They provide the minimum amount.
3. The restaurants are horrendously expensive. The sushi place had really good reviews but a very limited menu. It was just OK. Nothing special.
4. Oh yes, and at check-in. Which begins promptly at three. There’s a big line up. Don’t try to check in early at Hotel Nikko…At least not if you’re just a typical guest. Perhaps they have a special service for VIPs I don’t know.
Overall, it feels like a place where the accountants are in charge. I won’t hurry back. They’re stingy. And the staff, friendly as they are don’t seem particularly well treated. I think upper management could do a better job. You’re in the hospitality, business folks, act like it."
"Prime location that is unbeatable… smack in the middle of Dotonbori — The Glico Man sign is literally a 2 minute walk away , and there’s even a McDonalds right behind the hotel. Tons of shopping and local food spots within a 10-15 minute walking distance.
The service is also impeccable. Arrived a bit early before check-in time, and the hotel allowed me to check in early at no extra charge, as the room was ready. Many other hotels like Hotel Gracery charge even for 20 minute early check-ins, so this was appreciated.
The room was also spotless and surprisingly spacious — even larger than many of the hotels I’ve stayed in the U.S., let alone Japan where rooms are usually tiny.
5-star experience. Would recommend:
1) prime location
2) spacious, spotless room
3) amazing service"
