Lots of little luxuries such as fresh milk in the rooms along with hand creams, automatic bathroom lighting, complimentary glass of bubbles, in a environment that is an oasis of calm. The staff were very hospitable and warm and the restaurant food was great. A really fabulous stay.」

「What a great hotel. Can't say enough positive things about my experience. Room was lovely, clean, good value, great location and ambience, but the service and food were even better. I had early starts both mornings of my stay and it was not too much bother for Helen on the front desk and Paul?, the chef to open the kitchen slightly early for me. The food was wonderful and good value and Helen couldn't have been more helpful. This is what an independent hotel / restaurant should be like. Thanks...

「Not close to main city centre, but near to highway as I need to travel to Manchester & Doncaster etc. Victoria style decorations, nice breakfast & easy parking….」

「I was a little concerned that check in info, including teh address, was to be provided only 3 hours before check-in time, but in the event it all worked out fine. The apartment is not fancy, but comfortable, spacious, clean and well equipped.」

「We wanted somewhere close to Hillsborough Stadium, and The Queens Ground fit the bill perfectly. Our room above the pub was clean, comfortable, and quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. The pub itself is a proper local’s boozer - warm, welcoming, and full of character, with reasonably priced drinks. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Would happily stay again.」

「The room was pristine, the staff were professional and friendly. The pool was quiet and the areas clean. The food was exceptional, well presented and fresh. Unfortunately i had a fall on our last night outside the theatre, the hotel staff provided ice, towels and couldn't have been more kind and caring for which i am so grateful. The whole stay was very good value. 」

「All staff courteous and polite, room spotlessly clean, a couple of minor maintenance issues reported such as showers not draining properly but this was dealt with properly. Lovely vibe in the hotel and would definitely stay again if in the area. 」
