「Do not stay at this hotel. The resort is nice, but they double-charged for my room. I paid Expedia for the room, but the resort charged me again. Both the resort and Expedia are refusing to issue a refund. If you want to risk theft, this is the place to stay.」

「This is a gem of a quiet, accommodation spot with a nice sandy beach, small pool, a good restaurant and nice swimming in the ocean out front. The accommodation huts are perfect, the beds are decent and we felt as if we had our own private resort for some enjoyed R&R. It’s a short drive away from Placencia but well worth it for this experience. Kids loved the pool, paddle boards, hammocks and large beach area. I definitely recommend this place!! 」

「This was a spectacular stay. We chose the room facing the Caribbean Sea vs. having a kitchen set-up and it was the best decision ever. We loved every aspect of the Ellysian - most especially, being able to step out onto the sidewalk (Main Street) and in one minute, came upon Beaches and Cream cafe, the best coffee shop one might find anywhere in the world.
