The only issue was the weather related power outage which did not really allow us to use any of amenities. I am confident it would've been much more fun if we had electricity given the set up/provided amenities. I am not sure if a back up generator is standard/required or not but that was the only issue.

The yard is wonderful. The dock area, all the different waterfront seating areas, the pool table! We had a very relaxing weekend. Exactly what we were looking for.

A place for relaxation. I wished I had a week off to stay longer. It is like being in a semi private resort. In addition there were water sports equipments (Kayaks etc) for customers's use for free. We definitely enjoyed that also. I would definitely not consider other places to stay if I decided to visit the island again. Just make sure you arrange your food and drinks before going there. No restaurants or Cafe's close by, Hardly any would deliver, and there is no working kitchen.

This property is in an amazing spot. Excellent access to provided paddleboards, kayaks and canoes. View was stunning and bay was calm for watersports. Plentiful patios to enjoy the view although you have to watch for the falling sap from the trees. Patio furniture could use a dust-off and some cushions were coming apart. Suite was well stocked but could use some maintenance (damaged pool cues, sagging furniture, too soft bed, poor quality hand soap) and no air conditioning, although our suite was in the basement so wasn't too bad. Can't beat the location though!

Tranquility lodge is lovely and quiet. The suite was exactly as advertised and very comfortable and the use of paddle boards etc a bonus. The location itself is very remote (we came by floatplane from vancouver), so getting there without transport requires a taxi (~$35 each way) and come prepared to self cater for the trip as there is nothing within walk distance. A few restaurants do deliver to the property which was a bonus. Amazing location if you want to fully disconnect and relax. Would recommend

Beautiful setting right on the water, different areas on the property to sit and admire the view. Water equipment provided ex paddle boards , kayaks, life vests etc to use if wanted. Was lovely spot.

what we loved about the Ocean View Luxury Suite: the bed, including the pillows and bedding, are exceptionally comfortable the internet and TV worked without a glitch the suite is roomy (although the bar/kitchenette are is small), and there are lots of lights (not a lot of natural light in this unit, so we appreciated that) the grounds are very well kept, and the flowers are beautiful Nigel, the caretaker, is very sweet and helpful and you can tell he likes his job and that he enjoys meeting people what we liked less: the drive from Vancouver, including the ferry ride... had we been familiar with the way the ferries work, it would have been less stressful... we thought we could simply head down to Horseshoe Bay, have lunch, then drive onto the ferry... better to familiarize yourself with the highway leading to the ferry, where you can actually leave your car parked in line, then get out and walk about 5 minutes to the restaurants in Horseshoe Bay, then get back in your car before boarding... perhaps if we were hot-tubbers, we would have been a bit more tolerant of the comings and goings of all the people in the tub... this began in the morning before we headed out for a day of hiking, and continued into the evening after we got home around 6 or 7... the problem is, the hot tub is located almost directly in front of our unit, so even sitting at the little table in front of our door wasn't private, and we pretty much stayed inside the unit when there...

Awesome resort! Amazing views from our cozy cabin. Well appointed cabin. Great hot tub! Kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards supplied at the dock to play in the water. Nigel, the host, was warm, welcoming, and very helpful! Terrific spot for a short or long get aaway!

Stunning views from all the decks. A beautiful place to unwind and relax! Loved the outdoor hot tub under a gazebo overlooking the ocean. We also loved sitting on the dock, and especially being able to use the paddle boards and kayaks freely. This made for such a memorable experience. We saw lots of seals, starfish, and jellyfish (harmless, just a gorgeous sight in the water), as well as hummingbirds and blue jays, all from the property. The owner, Sam, is lovely and he made us feel very welcome. We will definitely come back! Thanks from Jenni & Robin.

Best Place to Stay on the Sunshine Coast
Tranquility Bay is a great place to stay in Sechelt or anywhere on the Sunshine Coast. I think with their location they have most picturesque views on the inlet which can easily be enjoyed from any of many decks or from the dock, which was a favourite of ours. Every morning and evening we would watch a mother seal and her pup play out on the water. Nature at its finest. Take advantage of the free access to the canoe, kayaks and paddle boards. This inlet is a paddler's paradise, with frequently calm waters and dotted with numerous islands. We booked the studio cabin and when we arrived we were greeted with a complimentary gift basket on the table and other special touches to set the scene. It had everything we needed. Nigel, the manager, was amazing and had great energy, If you needed anything, you just had to ask, He was also very thoughtful , going above and beyond for us. It was my partner Diane's birthday and he rode his bike 20 kilometers to surprise her with a bottle of sparking wine. You won't get that kind of service anywhere else. Thank you Nigel.

July get away
Very comfortable and we enjoyed relaxing on the many deck areas taking in the view. Free use of the kayaks and paddle boards was very much enjoyed, the water was like a bathtub when we stayed in July.

Pretty spot. We had a very nice room with a comfortable king bed, balcony and lovely view of the water. There were kayaks and canoes which were fun to use and the water was refreshing for a quick dip. Nigel is the host and he was delightful and helpful. Please know that guests do not have access to the house in the photo and there is no meal service. While the nearest town is 6.2 miles awary, we'd recommend you bring bfast and store it in the mini frig. Our host provided dishes and cutlery. There is a keurig coffee maker with pods in the room, microwave and a complimentary snack basket with cookies, chips and nutri-grain type bars. You can order dinner from Restaurants in town. However, it was fun to go into town to dine there. It is a beautiful area and Tranquility Bay has both rooms and a couple of cottages.

Hidden gem of a retreat spot
A private, very comfortable and beautifully appointed room with an incredible view. The hosts were very low key, helpful and the breakfasts were amazing. We'll definitely return and highly recommend the Tranquility Bay Waterfront Inn .

Perfect place to escape
We had an amazing four days of slow paced relaxation here, reading books, sitting by the fire and just enjoying the beautiful waterfront location in an amazing spot just outside Sechelt. Waking up each morning to a freshly cooked breakfast couldn't have been better - the quality was outstanding and they happily catered for a dairy allergy and a pregnancy. The owners went out of their way to ensure we had a great time, suggesting places to eat, visit and even taking us out for an afternoon fishing. We'll definitely be recommending this place to family and friends.

For sure! All suites have stunning ocean views from their windows/private decks and patios. There are also a further 4 waterfront decks and a dock for sharing a glass of wine/reading a book by the water. For those wanting more, head out on the free canoes, kayaks or paddle-boards! Or join me sailing in 20 knots!

Extrem freundliche und natürliche Gastgeber
Wären nicht die zahlreichen Waldbrände mit sehr dichtem Rauch in der wunderschönen Umgebung gewesen, es wären absolute Traumtage bei unseren sehr natürlichen und sehr freundlichen Gastgebern an der Sunshine Coast gewesen. Das Anwesen direkt in einer kleinen Bucht gelegen und ist sehr gepflegt. Vom eigenen Sitzplatz aus sahen wir sogar noch Seals und das trotz dem Rauch. Wir wurden rundherum bestens umsorgt und bedient. Das Frühstück wurde mit viel Liebe zubereitet und war ausgezeichnet. Die Gastgeber Sam + Joss bekommen von uns nur absolute Bestnoten, wir haben sogar den Rauch vergessen. In unserer Suite hatten wir sogar einen Billardtisch. Wir werden sicherlich wieder kommen. Vielen herzlichen Dank.

Relaxing get away, great hosts
Beautiful scenery with amazing hosts. Breakfast was hearty and healthy. Since it was December I made great use of the wood fireplace and the hot tub. Kayaks, canoes, and pedal boats available to cruise the shores as well. Overall a wonderfully relaxing trip.
