The Beach walk was close by and I went there every day! Parking was easy, too. Room was clean, but basic. Shower and bath were good as there may have been some renovations not too long ago.

The Oceanside, a Coast Hotel
The only negative about this property is we were assigned a room that had a door to an adjoining room. Sound from that room carried into our room and most annoying was a dog that was constantly baking in that room. I did mention this to the Front Desk when checking out.
