"The pool is currently closed. I have stayed at this hotel at least 4 times since 2020. There is ongoing construction that has been never been completed. Some exterior parts are an eyesore because of this. The rooms are nice, the view is pretty good and location is decent. Its a little bit of a walk to the pier, short drive to fast food and casual dining (In N Out, Black Bear Diner). A little too far to walk to downtown where there are many bars/restaurants but parking is not too hard to find. My 4th time staying at this hotel and this was the first time that the noise from the 101 highway bothered me. I will come back, but will check other options next time before making a final decision."

"Very very nice and so glad we booked this hotel. Excellent location near beach and many restaurants within walking distance. Clarissa at the front desk is the perfect front desk person. Kind, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area. I would definitely book again"

"The property is delightful. It is well maintained, the bedding is lush, the bathroom amenities are adequate, and the small, faux antique 'frig was too cute! The only reason(s) it didn't get 5 stars is that there are no blackout curtains and the battery in the wall clock needed replacing. Not fatal. I would go back!"

"This hotel was a very pleasant surprise. The entire property was extremely clean and the room had tons of character, really no comparison to a standard hotel room even in a luxury name brand hotel. The staff was helpful and friendly every time we interacted with them. Only area of improvement would be more storage in the rooms. The gated on-property parking below the hotel is a great amenity. Location is terrific with shopping and restaurants within block and easy to walk."
