"The rooms here have been redone and are beautiful. Very Clean, comfortable Beds & Linens, great air conditioning; my room had a mini fridge, safe, parking right outside the door, a little table and stools to work at, and really nice bathroom. The price was excellent for a weekend or weekday! Walking distance to cafe’s, beach, etc. I felt very safe. Will definitely return. Also look forward to additions I think they are making/renovating."

"The room was clean and quaint. There were some small maintenance tweaks that could have made the stay more enjoyable. For example the recessed lighting directly above the bed doesn't have a lens cover, so you see right into the lightbulb. The refrigerator was making a loud gurgling sound continuously which wasn't a dealbreaker for us as we have a fountain outside of our window at our home and it could almost sound like one, but can imagine it could be challenging for someone else. The staff were friendly and the location was great as it was walking distance to shops and restaurants. An historic building which had a nice solarium atrium which was enjoyable in the mornings, the breakfast was standard."

"Hotel San Buena is a beautifully restored location with modern amenities. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the temperature controlled room was perfect. The staff were incredibly thoughtful and kind and helpful. And little touches like turn down service (a little treat in the evening) and filtered water on the rooms were very nice. My only complaint was that the Historic room is directly below a walkway and directly next to a gate that leads to the outdoors. We could hear people walking and the heavy metal gate slam shut as early as 7am and as late as 10pm. Other than this our stay was ideal."
