"Loved the location. This is a good location to visit other areas like Sister Bay, Fish Creek, Washington Island, etc. We loved how close we were to the lake. Beach wasn’t big but it was great to have one so close for the kids. Pool wasn’t huge but plenty of room. Great breakfast and try the Fish Boil at night."

"Staff goes out of their way for the customer. Pool was nice and surprisingly not busy. Restaurant on site was very good and so was the complimentary breakfast. Will definitely stay there our next trip."

"The kitchen was great to have so that we could prepare meals before heading out to do our activities for the day. The staff were all so lovely and friendly and helpful. We never checked out the pool or fire pit, but it looked like people were using both every night and the grills they have, so it could be fun to meet people that way! There’s also a cool 10-minute walk down through the cemetery and forest to Pebble Beach, where there’s barely anyone, and you can see some killer sunsets. It’s just overall such a lovely and beautiful property and it’s just a little quieter than being right in the middle of town. It’s very well maintained and cozy lodgings, we had a great time."

"We love the family-friendly suites with a kitchenette to feed our kiddos, the option to have indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub is a great backup if weather is poor and we need to get their energy out! Staff is very helpful! One tip- there is no elevator so be sure to keep that in mind when booking!"

"Very nice resort! You are on the water and can see Lake Michigan from almost every room balcony or patio! Staff was knowledgeable about the area for food and excursions. Quiet, clean, relaxing, and awesome private beach! Free breakfast had a decent selection to get your day started. Nice indoor pool with hot tub. Great for families with kids or couples that don’t want to be in the center of the “party crowd” but you are literally minutes away from the very highly populated tourist areas. With sister bay just 5 min drive north and fish creek or egg harbor just south. But the true kicker was the daily fresh baked cookies available all day everyday for everyone! 10/10 would stay again! Thank you!"

"This was our first stay in DC and it was so nice! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lodge. The Fire pits outside were so relaxing to sit by at the end of the day. Our room was comfortable and clean. Staff were very friendly and accommodating to any need we might have. Would definitely stay here again. The Lodge is centrally located so made it easy to get around Door County quickly."
