"Great place to stay with our family of 2 adults and 2 kids (6 and 8 yo). The sofa bed was really comfortable for them. The kitchen was good enough to prepare some of their meals. The master room was really nice. The beach in front of the property about a block away is REALLY good for kids. We went to multiple beaches in the area and that has the warmest water, because it is really shallow, which also makes it really safe. It was pretty comfortable in early July for us, which is rare for Lake Michigan. The area is overall really nice with multiple amenities nearby with a short drive, especially the peninsula state park. I would just point out that despite the separation between master bedroom and living room with sofa bed, we could not really close the door between two spaces because the a/c is in the living room. I will also advise NOT to open the patio door at night if you don't want to have an invasion of mosquitoes. However, no issues opening it during the day for brief amounts of time."

"This would be a solid choice for you to explore door county. It is unassuming architecturally interesting the landscaping is beautiful. Parking is a plenty a lovely little pool. In addition, the free breakfast is homemade nothing out of the freezer not reheated food. The grounds are just perfect. The rooms are serviceable. But that’s reflected in the price. It’s not your motel six for sure but if you want a great place to stay for a lot less money than most places around there check it out."
