Though the Birchwood was at full capacity, it was very quiet! Very relaxing and comfortable rooms. The pool area was very well kept and was also clean and not being used. We enjoyed our stay and will return soon! Jenni and Mike

Like everything in Sister Bay WI, they close up early. No coffee maker in the lobby but they have packets for you to take to your room to use with the coffee maker in the room.

Everything was wonderful! The hotel was conveniently located just a couple of minutes from Al Johnsons, where we had breakfast EVERY DAY! And our 6 year old son loved not only the pool, but also the jacuzzi tub in our room! They also have a basket by the front desk with extra toiletries and towels!

This is an older property. The rooms could definitely use updates. The first room we were given was not anything like the pictures on the site. The carpet was very dark and had stains on it. We were able to work with staff to upgrade our room at additional cost, but it was well worth it. We found the dishes were still in the dishwasher. Also the hot tub had the drain control knob falling off. The windows had blind on them instead of curtains or shades. The bath towels were an ugly tan color and not very soft. The bedding was old. The sheets were not very soft. The pillow were terrible. The tv in the bedroom was small and in a very awkward place. The wooden chairs on the balcony were old and rotten. The pool and hot tub were nice. The pool area was very warm, almost too hot. The pool was closed the second day we were there.
