"My son and I absolutely loved (!!!) staying here. Tom is so nice and personable, and he provided great recommendations for places to eat and visit. It was also fun that he could chat some about recent history of Freiburg. The rooms were clean and well-heated, and the showers and whirlpool tub were great! Modern. Excellent hot water and rainfall showerhead. The location, in my opinion, cannot be beat. It’s only two blocks from Munsterplatz. My teenage son loved the privacy and rustic (in a clean, good way) of the lower floor room. There is a very low, peaceful rumbling (very quiet) of the tram passing which also adds ambiance. (My son couldn’t hear it at all, and for my room, it was a nice little natural sound machine. For any light sleepers, this is not a red flag. A simple sound maker or fan at low setting or on your phone for white noise would easily mask the soft, atmospheric rumbling.) I am excited to return to Freiburg next year or so, and I will definitely reserve accommodations here. You can’t go wrong!"
