"A lovely 15th century property with well decorated rooms. It was very hot in the room but to be expected in a heatwave, it was really good to have the fan in the room, Staff were really friendly and breakfast wad very good quality."

"Room was clean and spacious and the staff were friendly and accommodating. However we chose to eat in the restaurant and ordered the Lobster Thermidor which unfortunately did not live up to expectation. It was heavily over cooked and I could not actually cut it with the knife it was so tough However that aside, our experience was a good one and we would stay again but perhaps chose a bar meal rather than eat in the restaurant"

"The restaurant was excellent, Sunday lunch was best I’ve had for a long time so we dined there the following night as well. The breakfast was excellent - the residents breakfast included continental breakfast with ham to carve yourself which melted in your mouth and a choice of hot breakfast - gorgeous eggs royal with generous helping of smoked salmon."
