「We stayed in a standard room in the main building and it was so lovely! The breakfast was awesome and the walk down to the village was convenient. This hotel has a lovely restaurant attached with great food. Zaros Lake is just around the corner. My favorite part was the spring water running down the side of the road. A very lovely village to visit on your trip around Crete.」

「The property is advertised as a 4 star probably based on the amenities however it’s a 3 star at the most based on UK STANDARDS. The food is limited for vegetarians apart from the array of salads and possibly 4 vegetarian main options. Foods are not not always labelled. However the chef is accommodating if given pre-notice. Rooms needs a revamp, common areas are not cleaned, sun bed are not cleaned daily.」

Best to get google maps to bring you to Krousonas town center and then put in the property address. Google maps in Crete will have you go down goat paths and should not be trusted. 「Close to the beach & the airport Karteros Hotel is in a great location. It is also 20 mins by bus from the port. WiFi is good, the room is large with lots of plug ports & a good sized bathroom. Breakfast had a wide selection of fruit, salad, hot items, pastries, fruit juice, hot drinks & more. The pool is large but not heated so can be chilly. A lovely one night stay. 」

「Die Hotelanlage ist in einem tadellosen Zustand. Alles ist sehr sauber und sehr gut gepflegt. Das Personal ist jederzeit sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das Essen war immer sehr umfangreich und sehr abwechslungsreich. Die Buffetauswahl war riesig und täglich gab es unterschiedliche Themenabende. Am Tage gab es immer ein Programm für jung und alt, sowie am Abend ein Unterhaltungsprogramm mit Musik, Akrobaten und Show.
