"Our stay at the Grand Hotel Açores Atlântico was truly wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly and even assisted with valet parking, which made everything so easy. Everyone we met was professional and friendly, but a special thank you goes to Ines at the front desk. She welcomed us with a smile, helped us get settled, and went above and beyond to arrange restaurant reservations and recommend things to see and do around the island. We also had the pleasure of chatting with the manager, who was extremely personable and genuinely interested in making sure guests were enjoying their stay. His approachability and warm conversation added to the overall welcoming atmosphere.
Our room was very comfortable, and the view overlooking the marina was absolutely beautiful — waking up to it each morning was unforgettable. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of variety, and the hotel’s location made it easy to explore Ponta Delgada on foot.
This was my first time in São Miguel, and it will definitely not be my last. We would absolutely choose this hotel again when we return."
"The hotel location is perfect - underground parking across the street for a reasonable price and walkable to all of the marina area and the many stores and restaurants in the area. The staff was second to none!!!
Try for a room with a view as there is no outside amenity area. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of choice plus an la carte menu.

"Everything was terrific. Access to a great beach, indoor outdoor pools, saunas. Food was good. Service great and room had a great view of the ocean. Staff were very helpful. They gave us a list of local places and made excellent recommendations. "

The resort is off on it's own, so you do need to drive to get anywhere. The staff was friendly and informative. We appreciated the beach towel system as well. "
