「Stunning views, gorgeous sauna, and lovely outdoor pool. Would recommend a car for exploring!」

「The view from our room was amazing! The view alone made the hotel great. The room needs a bit of an update but it was good for the one night we stayed. The floors were very creaky and the rooms were not soundproof so you could hear any noise from the hallway. I was a bit confused about where to check in but the staff was kind and helpful. I liked how quiet the area was and it was not a very busy street, but didn’t have great cell service. We had no issues finding parking when we stayed. We...

「We loved this hotel. The staff were exceptional. They were friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond. The amenities were amazing. The location is great for airport. It is showing some age, as our room definitely needed some TLC, but it was clean.」

「Lovely location, however the steam room & sauna weren't working when we were there. There was practically nothing left when we went for breakfast. Our evening meal was lovely. Staff very friendly and helpful」

「Nice service and friendly staff」

「It’s a good hotel with the best view. We love here.」

「Perfect location」

「Très cheap sur le café et les employés très désagréable」

「We had a lovely stay at the hotel. Rooms are super nice and modern and very clean. Bed and pillows were super comfy. The breakfast was good. The pool area was an added bonus. It was just a shame the bar was not open for drinks. They did have a phone service but it took time to receive drinks. But overall I would definitely recommend this hotel.」

「A perfect getaway for some much needed rest and relaxation.」

「Older hotel but in a great location in Funchal. Walkable area, shopping mall with grocery store within 2 minutes walking distance. Lots of restaurants nearby. The rooftop pool was well maintained although we didn’t have time to use it, the rooftop views were great. The breakfast buffet was good, although repetitive as all hotel breakfasts are. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Hotel Madeira.」

「Der garten, das Essen alles einfach wunderbar!」
