"The staff members were amazing. They got me the help I needed right away. Specially the front desk lady names Shaw. On the other hand, My family and I checked into this place thinking it would just be a quick overnight stay. What we walked into felt more like a crime scene that housekeeping forgot to finish. The first thing that hit me wasn’t even what I saw—it was the smell. A thick, stale mix of smoke, mildew, and something sour that clung to the air like it had been sitting there for weeks. On the nightstand, there was a half-smoked blunt just sitting in the closet. The bathroom somehow managed to be worse. The shower walls were coated in a grimy film, and in the tub there was this brownish unidentifiable residue that looked like it had been building up over time. Not just dirt—something thicker, something that made you not want to think too hard about what it actually was. The toilet seat was cracked and loose, shifting when you touched it like it might just give way completely. Back in the main room, things took a turn from disgusting to genuinely disturbing. There were reddish-brown stains smeared across parts of the wall—maybe old paint, maybe something else, but it didn’t look accidental. It looked like it had been wiped, not cleaned. The bed frame had sperm stains on it. This place is not what looks like online. AVOID IT."

"We could not swim there condoms in the pool and it was dirty. We asked to exchange towels and they said they didn't have any they were washing them."

"We were there for Extraordinary Women Conference and first time staying with Candlewood. We attended church on Sunday at Olive Baptist Church and didn't realize how convenient the location. Very enjoyable stay and I would recommend for next year conference."

"This property charges a $100 deposit upon check-in that is not refunded for 2-5 business days. My stay here was not enjoyable or clean. There were domestic violence issues happening in the next room that kept me up all night and I found three live cockroaches under the covers in my bed. The room key barely works - It took me approximately 10 tries every time I tried to enter the room to get the room key to work which is scary due to the crackheads wondering around outside. Between the super high deposit price, domestic violence issues, room key issues, crackheads wondering around and live cockroaches in the bed I do not recommend this property at all. It is ridiculous that you have to pay such a high deposit to stay in such a trashy place. I had high hopes because of the ratings on this app but I will never stay at this property again. Do not recommend."
