The hotel is really nice & clean! You did have to leave your room key in a slot by the door to use the lights & i never seen that before. Took a min to figure out lol but it was just steps from the boardwalk! Perfect location

Comfort Inn Beach/Boardwalk Area
Super friendly staff and very close to the boardwalk. The walls are very thin though so you can hear your neighbors conversations clearly.

Rio Vista Suites
Rooms were excellent and staff as well. They locked our bikes up in storage so that we did not have to lug them upstairs. Rio Vista is a real find in Santa Cruz. Will stay there again. A really great value.
