「The villa itself is stunning, lovely pool area and grounds and staff really great, friendly and helpful. The apartment we stayed in was okay - we knew it was in the basement of the villa, but it was very dark. We had booked it as it came with a kitchen and perhaps an oversight on our part but there was no oven, the fridge was tiny and a real lack of cooking utensils, it was very basic and meant we did not really cook while staying despite having wanted to. 「Lovely Characterful property in heart of Lucca. The staff were very helpful and quick to move us to a different room due to plumbing issues . The breakfast was good with a variety of choices . We were in good walking range to tourist sites and also very close to a very good pizza takeaway !」

「Mirko was a fantastic host and incredibly helpful throughout my stay. The bedroom was spotlessly clean and tidy, with a very comfortable mattress and pillows. The shower had great water pressure, and I loved the light cotton towels, which dried very quickly. 「The room was average, but the staff were rude, unprofessional, and unwelcoming. They ignored us, never greeted us, and made it clear we weren't welcome. Breakfast was poor—one egg was rotten—so I skipped meals there to avoid food poisoning. They focused on telling us about inconveniences like the closed pool and broken gate, and that we should leave before 10:00 on the last day. I cannot recommend this place; the owners are unsuited for hospitality.」
