Love, Love, Love this place! As well as the two lovely ladies ( Ingrid and Marta) that make it even more special. They were always so kind and helpful. Having the delicious breakfast every morning was wonderful. The hotel is spotlessly clean, and extremely comfortable. The location is absolutely perfect, with every thing worth seeing within easy walking distance. There is nothing else that you could ask for. I will definitely be back again…

The hotel was a fabulous example of Lucca - the entrance door was 15th century, the room decor was typical of the period, yet with clean, modern facilities, and the lady managing, Ingrid, was so helpful and kind. Breakfast was just lovely. Fantastic stay to start our holiday.

Very clean , comfortable, beautiful vintage property. Very pleasant and helpful manager Marta, helpful and sweet Ingrid. Wonderful breakfast with freshly brewed coffee, wonderful cakes and good selection. Can’t say enough about our wonderful stay!

This charming, perfectly located hotel has well appointed rooms, a lovely, caring staff and a wonderful breakfast to start the day. Located on Via Fillunga, you are in the heart of Lucca. Dolce Marta and Dolce Ingrid are a delight - helpful, kind, fun and both speak excellent English. I loved staying at this wonderful hotel.

Super ‘old school’ residence inside the walls

Great location off main dining, shopping avenue in Luca Centro. Ditch your car just inside the walls of this marvelous city and walk! Great European breakfast. Lovely, helpful hosts. Highly recommend.

This property was right in the heart of Lucca and it was eady to walk to all shopping and dining. The historic location was well kept and the general manager was a lovely host and she prepared a wonderful breakfast that she baked. The parking is a little hard to navigate to due to construction on a road, I recommend not driving into the walled city of Lucca, get a ride there if possible.

A gorgeous, quiet, very small hotel in an old palace just off one of the main Lucca streets. We had a large twin room with a lot of character and a good bathroom. The ladies who run the hotel are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is excellent with home made yoghurt and cakes. The hotel is very clean and in excellent condition. We highly recommend this memorable and delightful hotel. For people with limited mobility there is limited parking and not to the door, There is a flight of stairs and a heavy door up to the hotel. There was a small amount of noise one night but generally very quiet and right in the centre of all the sights, restaurants & shops.
