The hotel is beautiful,very well maintained, with a lovely garden. The rooms are spacious, clean, and have a romantic atmosphere. The staff was kind and attentive throughout our stay.
Unfortunately, after we left, we received a call from the front desk asking whether we had taken the bathrobes from the room. I was surprised, as there were no bathrobes in our room during our stay. I explained this to the person who called and mentioned that the same staff member who had walked us to our room upon arrival and helped us with our departure had shown us everything in the room, and there were definitely no robes.
I asked her to look into the matter and clarify it. However, we never heard back. We followed up with another call to request confirmation that the issue had been resolved. The front desk staff said that she was not aware of this issue, but promised to investigate and call us back. Unfortunately, that follow-up never came either.
This incident left us with a very uncomfortable impression. It seems the hotel does not have a reliable system for tracking what is present in each room. We stayed two nights, and our room was cleaned once, an ideal opportunity for staff to notice there were no bathrobes, which could have prevented this misunderstanding entirely.
Instead of receiving an apology for their error, we were left with silence and no confirmation that the matter had been cleared. Being indirectly accused of taking hotel property was deeply disappointing.
