"My wife and I just wrapped up four very special days at the Hotel Sanctuarium, and I cannot recommend it enough. Since the hotel is so new and doesn't have many reviews yet, we weren't entirely sure what to expect, but I am so glad we took the chance! ​From the moment we arrived until the second we left, the experience was nothing short of amazing. The staff is truly exceptional; they are so warm and welcoming that we felt both appreciated and completely spoiled throughout our entire stay. ​Highlights of Our Stay: ​The Dining: The meals were incredible. We enjoyed breakfast every single morning and had dinner at the restaurant twice. Each meal was a delight! ​The Grounds: Everything is kept immaculate. There is a dedicated bird-watching area with a large variety of species to spot, which was such a treat. ​The Amenities: The pool features a heated side with a swim-up bar that was the definition of relaxing. We also loved the path leading down to a serene river; it’s the perfect, quiet spot to swim and unwind. ​Location: You couldn't ask for a better spot. It’s located just down the road from the waterfall and 10 minutes from the heart of LA Fortuna, making it a very convenient home base. ​If you are considering a stay in La Fortuna, do not hesitate to book this gem! "One of the best resorts we have lived in. The pool and hot springs were amazing. Our boys loved the pool and the view of Arenal Volcano from the pool was amazing. The staff was very courteous and great service. The property is beautiful and rooms are very nicely done. The view of mountain from the room early morning was very relaxing and fun. The location of this resort is also in also perfect for all activities around La Fortuna. "
