「The location was beautiful. The rooms are VERY large. I was not aware that the room did not have a/c or fan (but I did not read the details, I just assumed it did because of the pricing) the weather was not super hot this day so it was ok, but on a warmer day it definetly needs it, also no TV at least in our room, the bathroom had some leaking in the shower. The beds and pillows were ok. Maybe we just assumed beacuse of the price that it would be a little more premium. But the experience was Ok...

All meals were a beautiful presentation and they got to know you and then catered to your tastes. He mad my husband a fresh picante sauce. We loved the location. 「We loved our stay here. The grounds of the property are beautiful and interesting with lots of birds and butterflies (note there is some small construction going on at the moment but this didn’t affect us). It was a relaxing and peaceful place for a few days with excellent hiking nearby to the waterfalls and river swimming pools. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the enclosed seating area at the front of each cabin, with fresh coffee provided, was a great place just to sit for a while....

「Great hotel - but much further away from SJO than I realized. This is definitely off the beaten path, but it was a great way to kick off my vacation after arriving in the middle of the night. Beautiful grounds filled with mango trees and wildlife to walk off a great breakfast prepared by the hotel.」

「The couple who owns the place was very nice, accommodating and friendly. You have to pay attention when you first arrive, as the area is not marked very well. the beds were very comfortable and the view from the balcony was perfect. 」
