VERY Clean and helpful, I arrived an hour before check-in and was able to get my room right away. City Mall, Wal-Mart, and restaurants are within walking distance.

The proximity to the airport, the price, the airport shuttle service is what brought me in to put my money down. This place is very clean very quiet and I would stay here again. The next time I come through.

Bare bones, but the room was clean and the bed comfortable. There was bottled water in the room and a hot shower (which in Costa Rica is not always a given). I was pleased, too, that they did come pick me up at the airport even though my plane arrived after stated shuttle hours.

A convenient smaller property located 5 mins from sjo Airport. Modern and clean rooms, but no a/c. Nice backyard to sit in with cooler air than room. Needs better signage or directions for uber/taxi.

Hotels.com failure

I did not stay. I was unable to arrange transport from airport even after calling, I took a taxi. I refused to stay because it is located in an unsavory area, looked like a regular house with fences--looked dangerous. Unable to contact Hotels.com for help; unable to cancel. Had taxi take me to a safe hotel where I felt safe.

The room was clean and quiet sufficient for our short stay. There is a fair amount of traffic noise, which was workable. The main problem was the pair of barking dogs also staying in the building. They barked loudly every 30-60 minutes all night long. It was not a restful night of sleep for us and would likely deter us from returning.

Not what we expected. We won't go back.

First of all, this is not a hotel, it's a collection of bedrooms. There is a shared fridge out in the back and a small back yard, although no chairs to sit out there. Our room, with one double bed was very small, with no place to put anything - no shelf, no table, and only a couple of hooks on the walls. We had only one small suitcase. If you are traveling with a large suitcase or several pieces of luggage, you'll have difficulty. The room had one window which looked out into the garage. A vehicle arrived in the night and parked with its headlights inches away from the window. The place was hard to find because you have to find the number, there are no signs. The staff were very responsive, though, when we had a maintenance issue. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The area was fine to walk during the day, but we were warned not to be out past 10 pm. Although it looks close to the large mall, the mall is not easily accessible because of a large highway in between. Although it seems close the the airport, with traffic the drive actually took 20-25 minutes. All in all, quite overpriced for what it is.

Great little location, 5 minutes from the airport. Room was spotless and had all the basic accommodations. All communications are done via WhatsApp and it all worked well for me. The location is walking distance (8-10 minute walk) to the City Mall. Area feels relatively safe. They offer shuttle service to the airport, but Uber is available and not expensive in my opinion (4000 colones plus I gave 1000 tip). Can't beat the price for the advantages of the location. Will use again for my early flights out of CR (I had to be at the airport at 3:00AM - this place made it super easy to plan for that for less than half of other hotels in the area).

We didn’t even get in… We told her that our flight was getting in at 12:05 AM so we never got to the place till 1 AM. We had no code to get in so basically I lost my money and had to go find another place at that hour of the morning.

Could be better, but it was fine for a place to sleep and nothing else. The room I bought was supposed to have AC but it did not. Also the shower had some kind of soap but no label on what it was… could have been anything so I didn’t bother using it.

With help of neighbours were able to find address but it took a while to get host to respond, ended up we were standing out front still unsure of location. Found out we were given wrong room, as another guest was also confused .

Not responsive host - sent several messages including through hotels.com. One link in confirmation message pointed out the wrong location. Fee transfer in confirmation message but I still had to pay 10 USD for the very short ride to the airport.
