Habitación muy pequeña, sábanas con energía estática, pequeños insectos y mucho ruido externo así como de parejas teniendo intimidad 😆

Un motivo por el que escogí el lugar fue el parqueo, lastimosamente no tienen un parqueo propio en el sitio, sino que es un parqueo de pago, hay que caminar 250m en una zona peligrosa. Para que aplique el precio especial de parqueo, solo se puede dejar de 7 pm a 7 am, sino cada hora adicional se cobra, pero como mencioné es una zona peligrosa y caminar por ahí a esa hora es riesgoso. Nada de esto es aclarado en su anuncio... La cama no está bien, presentaba irregularidades, amanecí con dolor de espalda. Entiendo que es un lugar económico, pero al final sale más caro que otras opciones mejores.

La habitación tenía varias cucarachas grandes, pedimos que por favor las sacaran y echaran algún tipo de insecticida, luego de esperar varios minutos porque supuestamente estaban limpiando, entramos a la habitación y ahí estaban las cucarachas vivitas y en las mismas esquinas, tuvimos que matarlas y sacarlas nosotros mismos. Eran demasiadas, grandes y pequeñas. En adición, el hotel no cuenta con estacionamiento, el carro se tiene que dejar en el borde de la carretera.

Room with no natural light, window opens to the hallway. If you leave the window open for a little bit of air, anyone could reach in and grab you in places you don't want to be touched. Room was tiny, could not sit on toilet due to the legroom being tighter than on our budget flight in. Bring earplugs unless you enjoy waking up to a porno sound track (and I don't mean the music). And BEWARE, the LOCATION is NOT what is noted on Expedia, it is on Calle 20, a very busy street, a good 30 minutes walk from the indicated location near the zoological park! Close to San Jose center, which was nice.

What I like about the property is that it's convenient and it's very relaxing. The only problem is that in the bathroom there's like water coming out when I use the shower.

Good no frills hotel

When I booked my stay Hotel San Jose was a newly added property. The property is actually on Calle 20 and not near a Garden and not on Av. 11A. The hotel staff was not super friendly and the hotel does not have a breakfast service at all. The rooms were clean and super basic. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and only a single tiny bar of soap is provided. On the plus side the property is across from a minimart, a bakery, and a fast food place. The center of the city is about a 10 minute walk. I ended up staying two nights as the price was fair for the what you get.
