"spent one night in 1970 rooms before my 7am ferry to Capri. if this is your situation, you need to stay here; only minutes walk to the port. for dinner/drinks we walked down the main boulevard (just on the corner of 1970) all the way to the high street shopping (west) and back around 10pm at night. felt very safe in this area.
