It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was helpful and the breakfast kiwi danish was delicious. It is close to mass transportation so it was easy to get where I needed to go. There was a market, and a pizza place on the same block. I would stay here again for sure.

This hotel is so cute and affordable. I thought it might GjT be a little noisy at night but it definitely wasn’t! The bed was comfortable and the room clean and spacious. There were many great eateries close by too!

Loved this property design. Definitely still leans into the original building esthetic but with modern accents and room setups. Wish the bar was staffed or it was more clear of how to access it. We also stayed while the restaurant was closed so that would have been a nice to have but didn’t take away from the experience much. Most of the area is walkable just need to use maps to help navigate hill heavy turns. Overall, I’d definitely stay here again.

Great hotel! We stayed here for a couple of days and had a wonderful experience. The value for money is an absolute 10/10. The staff here is just awesome — super polite, friendly, and extremely helpful with everything. You can really tell the interior was designed with great taste; all the furniture is high quality and creates a amazing vibe. No real downsides at all. The only thing to keep in mind is that they don't have their own parking, but that wasn't an issue for us at all. Highly recommend Hotel Julian to anyone visiting San Francisco. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at Hotel Julian! The staff were so helpful and the bed was very comfy. Big shoutout to Michael at the bar - they do free wine for guests from 3-4pm every day and he was such a great host, got people talking and had curated an excellent selection of wines. We were there almost every day. The location is a little bit of a mixed bag - it is a slightly rougher area (on the edge of the Tenderloin), so you will see some questionable characters. But there were also good food and transport options around as well, which we appreciated. Overall, we would stay there again.

Very helpful and friendly front desk staff during check in. King size bedroom was spacious and clean. Bathroom was also very clean. Appreciated having a doorman out front. We should have used the courtyard but had a pretty full trip planned in SF and didn’t get to it. Our son lives 4 blocks away, we will stay here again on our next visit.

There's a gym on the premises & a wine bar connected to the breakfast area. There's a laundrymat two doors down & a quick excellent inexpensive breakfast spot right across the street. The staff is very helpful & friendly. Centrally located to get around, walk, public trans or cab. The rooms are clean as well. Enjoy your stay.
