"The checking is easy and they received us with a drink, the rooms are big and clean and the have drinks in the fridge, all the restarunt are very good, the staff altered very helpful and polite. Even the shoes were good. The only bad thing it was the mosquitoes but I know that it was because of the raining season. Other then that it was perfect Thank you"

"Despite one small hiccup, our stay was satisfactory. The staff was attentive, cooperative, and went above and beyond to help whenever needed. The check-in experience was better due to Expedia, and handled satisfactorily by Gudalepae and Hector. The bars provided enough options to relax and quench our thirst. Overall, it was a good break and a pleasant experience. We appreciated the efforts of the staff and their willingness to make our stay comfortable."

"Velas is a beautiful resort. The staff has always been helpful and very friendly. Fun activities and nightly shows along with good food with themed dinners. There is a nice and clean gym that has the basics for a good workout. The rooms are comfortable and relaxing. We have stayed here many times and will continue to return."

"Everyone was very kind, food was good. Atmosphere great with the locals but the only thing I have to complain is how outdated the resort looks compared to the pictures online. Online everything looks amazing and new and thats not the case also the room air conditioning was horrible first night room was so hot even after we called to have someone fix it, we also asked the next day we were told someone would come up and no one ever did."
