「We were a bit confused by this hotel. This is a luxury boutique hotel that didn’t really feel like a luxury hotel. The staff were nice which is expected but didn’t go out of their way for us. The location is excellent and our room had a beautiful view of the Portofino piazza but the windows all had signs saying “please keep windows closed”. Our room furnishings were standard. However, I found that the rooms were not well soundproofed. During the night, I could clearly hear a couple in the room above arguing, as well as the guests next door every time they used the bathroom, which made it difficult to rest. While I appreciated the quality of the service, I believe the room rate is way higher than what the property's facilities...

「We stayed 4 nights at hotel vesuvio and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The rooms were clean and very well air conditioned. The staff were very kind and even called a taxi for us one night when we were going to dinner on the outskirts of Rapallo (thanks Sophie).
