place was ok not bad for a nights sleep - the towels in the room were very dirty - they were washed but in desperate need of replacing they were stained and had an old odor. the bed linens and floor was clean no complaints, good water pressure nice hot water, call working girls in the parking lot at night and the pool was closed without warning it was super hot a dip was needed - air conditioner worked fine - I wouldn't stay here again only because I need clean towels and it shows that the hotel owners are too cheap to replace huge miss.

I was pleasantly surprised with my stay here for eight nights. When I arrived the room was clean and hot - not surprising with temperatures in the 100s earlier that day. The AC unit managed to cool the room after about 45 minutes with a loudness moderate for those in-wall units. The fridge and microwave were clean and functional. What surprised me was the many channels of the TV available. I did not go through them all but those I did try worked great. Water pressure in the shower and sink were good. Overall a nice clean, quiet enough for good sleep, and safe place to stay for myself (an older man) second thoughts if I had my wife on this trip - Parking lot well lit at night with strong LED lights. many security cameras also. I would definitely stay here again. Easy freeway access, with in-out burger and movie theater near buy.

Arrived in San Bern by Amtrak late evening and needed overnight accom until catching Greyhnd/Flixbus next morning, so we got this no frills hotel. Its close to both the train depot and dwntwn bus terminal and food which we needed. 5min Uber to hotel since the bus route out of service for night .Hotel- low end of my typical budget ones Ive used, sketchy upon arrival but had newer cars in lot so continued with check in. Appears to be getting some updates, currenly 1 star status from my travels. Checkin at window outside the blg only. Looked like a coffee /bkfs roll area inside but was told no services for that. And no in room coffee maker, so plan to walk few blocks to doughnut shop or fast food. Not suggested to walk out there after dark since limited street lights and those who wander walking around. Pool -avail sign shows 7am -6pm. Appear to not have $ to buy white towels -washrag -all dark greyed/black stained like garage rags -but smelled clean, same with my towel. Mattress/pillows/tv table surfaces were good, appear updated. Linens were clean, bathroom clean. Air cond unit way up in wall by ceiling so need tall person on chair to see temp/control the thing. Need $.50 for ice (old coin -op) machine. Roach looking bug 1/2" long came out from under bed after arriving, then smaller one crawled on wall behind headboard, then noticed a handfull crawling all around tub edge. Pulled bed a bit away from wall for piece of mind. Keep everything off the floor, including your shoes!

the first room we were assigned was crawling with roaches everywhere even in the fridge and microwave. The second room wasn’t as bad but smelled like cigarettes even though it was a non smoking room chipped paint everywhere, leaky toilet, dirty sheets. Don’t recommend staying here.
