「There was rat poop in between our bedsheets. The tub was dirty, like if someone just got out of the tub and left it they tried to give us another room. The adjoining door would not lock, but they thought that they could put a chair in front of the door to hold it shut. People are living in the hotel one couple said that they were in between places to live so they were staying there for a while. It was absolutely disgusting. The outside looked abandoned. The whole experience at this hotel was the...

「The room was very clean and quiet. My only problem was I wish people would understand handicap people's needs. My mom couldn't take a shower because was not handicap accessible. And only king rooms have walk in showers. My mom travels with my husband and I and we are not all sleeping together.」

「The hotel room we were to stay in at the Comfort Suites Abingdon was disgusting and a health threat. The room had a dead cockroach in the corner, a bunch of food crumbs along the bed frame edge that were molding, some dirty crusty white streak on the bed skirting, and worst of all, mildew growing up the sides of the bed side table. 「We enjoyed the charm of the old time hotel. The room was nice and the continental breakfast was good. We liked the town and had a great dinner in the hotel's Bar/Restaurant」

「Beautiful historic inn by the river. Close to downtown Damascus. We were able to walk to our bike shuttle to get on the creeper. Nice restaurants within walking distance and the hotel in the restaurant was really good. Loved our room and the breakfast in the morning was delicious. The lady in charge of breakfast is a gem. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. You will love this place!」

「Check in lady was helpful and very friendly. As soon as we got there the elevator was broke down, stuck on second floor. She was trying her best, running back and forth up the steps to fix it. No luck on that. We were only on the second floor, so not so bad getting up to the room. We got to the room, and although the bed was made, there were gross stains and hairs on the comforter, which we were told they normally don’t wash them unless they look dirty. Well….obviously nobody looked at this one....

「The room was clean, well appointed with everything you'd want in a motel room. Very nice.」

「Clean and bright. Everything was great」
