"We’ve never stayed at a Doubletree in such terrible shape & in need of a renovation. The hotel was very old, not well maintained. Elevators were slow and sounded old. The carpet in our room was in bad condition and appeared not to be properly vacuumed. no towel bar in the bathroom. There was a load noise (probably the elevator) above our room. We couldn’t sleep so we had to switch rooms at 1am. The other room was in similar (old) condition. No ice on at least 3 floors ( we stopped searching after the 3rd floor). Very disappointing for $500 a night!!"

"Hotel is in complete renovation. It was dirty and loud. Staff was rude. Pool was filthy with black mold and filled with leaves.. the restaurant was awful."

"The breakfast was shockingly good! I wasn't expecting that. I think they were blueberry muffins that were great!!! The staff was polite and friendly. Room was cleaned spotlessly. I personally am not a fan of carpet in any hotel, so that would be suggestion for them on their next upgrade. Remove the carpet and replace with LVP floors. The more Homewood Suites we stay at the more we look at them for future stays. You are getting consistently good stays."

"We've stayed at this location multiple times to return to MD Anderson Center and it is very convenient. The staff is helpful and the parking is close. It's an added convenience that breakfast is on-site and included."
