「We booked this hotel because of air conditioning, however the ac wasn't strong enough under heat wave, it's a basic hotel, no fridge, close to shopping mall and restaurants but it's quite noisy as it's next to the main road.」

「The property was filthy, didn’t see anyone to complain to we collected the key from a building across the road. I have never stayed anywhere so dirty it can’t have been cleaned for months, one window was screwed shut and it was really hot. I have taken photos, I had to buy wipes to wipe over the surfaces but I didn’t do the floors which were also filthy.」

「Reception was not manned with a sign to proceed to the bar upstairs which was also empty. Someone came who said he would get someone but he returned 10 min later and had to chase again. His colleague arrived 5 min later. He showed us to a 3rd floor room which was still being cleaned. The room was very hot due to the weather and the air conditioning unit on the wall did not work. None of the windows opened and one was actually sealed shut. We were shown a room on the 1st floor. Again air...

「Winterstoke is a HUGE house with 4 massive double bedrooms and a large twin room. This does not feel like a holiday rental, it feels like a home. I have never stayed in a property that is so well appointed, every detail is covered. The quality of the house is really fantastic and incredibly comfortable. The back garden is lovely with a great area for entertaining, unfortunately it was freezing so we could not make use of it. We had a baby with us and the owner (sheila) had EVERYTHING...
