「Lovely old pub. Tired rooms. Staff lovely.」

「Great stay. Thank you to Joy for her help and making such a great overnight stay for my fiancés 30th bday. Photos did not do the property justice it was so spacious including the ground floor balcony. We will be coming back and can’t wait. The food was great and so was the breakfast & pancakes!! 「The Bell Inn was gorgeous it would have received a 5 star rating if it wasn’t for the staffing issues. Housekeeping had failed to turn up that day and they hadn’t realised until nearly checking time so we never got into our room until 5.45. The staff dealt with this delay professionally and we were served with complimentary drinks. This caused us a bit of an issue as we had to leave at 6.15 for a meal elsewhere. Would definitely stay here again if in this area.」

「Room and bathroom were clean however bathroom was in need of some refurbishment, also floor of shower was very slippery when wet. Staff were very pleasant, breakfast was fine although would have liked a selection of fresh fruit.」

Located a bit away from the city centre, the hotel's deco, ambience and service were comparable to a 5-star hotel. We were particularly impressed by the service of Ali, proactive, considerate and detailed to meet our needs, even the unspoken. We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel and found them enjoyable. 」
