"I would say to everyone look beyond the bad reviews,the staff are very helpfull friendly and will do their best to facilitatee your reequests. The facility has changed since some of the bad reviews in that there is piwer during the day unless generator being topped up. The snorkling around the facilty is good and even better when the turtles pass daily. The food is good and varied over the 4 nights we stayed. This is not a 5 star resort so dont look for that level of comfort,but it is a good...

Inspect the kitchen utensils, the water filter is leaking, the dish soup is non-existent, the drying rack left in the kitchen cupboard to house insects, the living room sofa leather was teared apart. The amenities advertised includes water bottles, but when asked for it from the staff on site, it’s not provided as complimentary. "We stayed here for one night while exploring the local area. Overall the experience was good, the room was comfortable and the location is convenient. But this is a very basic accommodation, and the bathroom was in need of some repair. The owner and family were very helpful and accommodating, and in general the people in this area are very nice. This is a great location for views of Mt Kinabalu, and for local hikes, and also for visiting the Desa Dairy Farm."
