A great spot - clean and bright with ocean views. A well equipped gym, swimming pool - the hotel itself is attached to a shopping mall, very convenient! A well positioned hotel in the middle of the town.

Terrific location. The executive room was exchanged excellent, don't little signs of wear on the economy room, but overall a beautiful hotel and the best in Sandakan.

A very good hotel in Sandakan, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. We had dinner at the Poolside restaurant and the food was amazing (as were the staff). The gym was well equipped, and the rooms comfortable with good bedding. I wouldn’t stay anywhere definitely stay here again

Excellent property in good location with great sea views. Pool bar and main bar very nice and great snack menu. Main restaurant is very over priced for quality and range of food in there. Reception area good and staff on reception very helpful.

Everything was wonderful. The reception team is fantastic. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very well maintained. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of dishes to choose from. Practically all of the staff speak English. Aiman from the reception is an angel who explains everything and is extremely dedicated to providing excellent customer service. The gym is clean and well maintained, and the pool is wonderfully clean as well. I will definitely come back! Best regards, Dorota

The best part of our stay was waking up to the magnificent view from our window. We had no problem getting a taxi to the Sepilok attractions and while the city center is a little worn, there is great food there.

We stayed for one night in early June, the hotel was bright, fresh and modern. The location is right in the centre of Sandakan and a useful base to explore. We had an evening meal at the restaurant which was better than average and reasonably priced. Breakfast was ok, they could have more on offer but what they did they did well. Overall I would stay again.

Stunning hotel on the waterfront in Sandakan. Fantastic view from the room over the ocean, and the infinity pool - sunsets from here are spectacular. Staff are all so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Beds are incredibly comfortable, rooms are airy, light and large. Mocktails from the poolside bar are delicious!

First time in Sandakan and it was such a refreshing stay before heading to Kinabatangan. What really stood out was the warm, attentive, and informative staff who made everything so easy and welcoming. I also absolutely loved the pool, perfect for unwinding after a day out. An exceptional four-star hotel that truly exceeded my expectations. The service is outstanding from start to finish. The staff at reception, as well as the team in the breakfast area, are exceptionally professional, attentive, and welcoming. The entire hotel is impeccably clean, beautifully maintained, and clearly cared for to a very high standard. The breakfast selection is impressive, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious dishes to suit every taste. The food is continuously replenished, so everything remains fresh and beautifully presented. There is something for everyone. The restaurant by the pool is also highly recommended. Both lunch and dinner were delicious, with excellent food and a lovely atmosphere. The pool area is very well maintained, with clean towels always available and the floors being cleaned regularly throughout the day. This was my second stay at the hotel, and once again, I was very pleased with the overall experience. I will definitely be returning again in the future.A wonderful place to stay with excellent service, cleanliness, and attention to detail. Highly recommended!

What an incredible stay! Thank you so much to the doorman (sorry i didn't get your name), Syafina and Azizan. Thank you for making my short stay so memorable. The hotel was spotless, the attention to detail by housekeeping was wonderful. I loved the pool and the food and I wish I could have stayed longer. I loved the map which came with the keycard that mapped the Sandakan heritage trail, which I followed and had a great day trip. If you're staying in Sandakan and want a piece of luxury and to watch an amazing sunrise and sunset this hotel is the place for you. Thank you so much!

Rooms are clean and nicely appointed with great views and strong A/C. No hallway or elevator air conditioning so temps run warm. Pool is exquisite and pool bar has great menu. Hotel only reopened under new flagship in recent months after 7 year closure (was a Sheraton before). Some areas still under renovation but this is the best property in Sandakan by a long shot. Italian restaurant is coming. Buffet breakfast was just OK. Not many gluten free options and hot food was luke warm at best. Hotel is attached to the mall which is convenient.
