"Over the past four years we have stayed at the Joinery, which is close to Point Park University's campus. The hotel is getting a little worn. I noticed things like peeling wall paper, loose tissue holders, loose hooks, etc. I always sleep well at the Joinery, the heavy curtains help keep the room dark. I also use the workout room, which would benefit from a deep clean. The Joinery is a good hotel, not as expensive as some others nearby with adequate amenities."

"This is a great stay, especially if you are looking to catch a baseball game. Convenient access to the highway, though there are no restaurants or places to shop in the vicinity. Breakfast is a standard fare of what one ought to expect from an American continental breakfast hotel offering; eggs, biscuits, muffins, oatmeal, pancakes, etc. Get there early in the evening as the seats fill up quick. Overall, the location itself leaves something to be desired, but it is close enough to everything. I would stay again. Only major qualm is the hotel seems very understaffed. There was often only one check in person, and the line went out to the entrance on a few occasions over the three nights I was there for. "

"Staff was amazing and the facilities were clean, but for the cost nightly, the room was a little rundown. The tub had visible rust spots, and was peeling. Bedskirts had some obvious staining that deserved replacement. Great location and staff was top notch, but for almost $500/night I wouldn’t expect the disrepair that was present."

"Wyndam Grand always provides a great experience for a trip to Pittsburgh....great views no matter what side of the hotel you are on....food is good and convenience to all stadiums many restaurants and other venues are excellent from this location. My only complaint is while the room was very clean and maintained....they are starting to look a bit dated in appearance. Otherwise really is a great place to stay"

"Parking was an issue. There was a long wait to get your car. They may have to move several other cars to access your car. Our room was supposed to have a refrigerator. When we inquired they said they would bring one but it might not work. The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean."
