"All staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms and common areas are decorated per early 1900 theme so interesting. Several places to relax and visit or read both indoors and outdoors. The breakfasts that are included were excellent. No air conditioning but a fan was provided. The rooms are not totally soundproof so I heard people in the neighboring room very early in the morning ( before 6 am), talking and watching tv"

"We checked in the bartender, but also got a text with pins to unlock the front and room doors. The room was comfortable an newly remodeled. The "soaking" tub (an antique claw tub) may be a bit of a challenge for some limited mobility folks but indeed allows soaking. The location was excellent, as part of our reason for going to Victor was a street fair. We've stayed there several times before and this stay was pleasant, as were others. There is an automated on-line check in process that produced son concern, but ultimately you can still check in the old fashioned way with staff (the bartender. A side note, our particular bartender held an inpromptu concert for bar customers. One of those rrandom specioal treats you can run into at individually owned hotels."

"This hotel has very nice comfortable rooms and is in a great location. There was a box elder bug in the window but I know they sneak in every time you open the door. Bedding and pillows were clean and so was the bathroom. There is a nice pool outside but unfortunately they only keep it open until 8:30 pm which was disappointing because I arrived at 8 pm. The person working at the front was very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this hotel for sure."

"Sunshine was a wonderful host answering all our questions by text quickly and very accommodating. This place is in the most beautiful spot, 360 degree views, peaceful and serene. We reserved the repurposed barn which had 3 bedrooms and one large well equipped bathroom. The common space is large with a pool table and full size pac man game the kids loved! The dog friendly part was wonderful as we were able to bring our two pups. The space tidy and well appointed but was rather dusty (not surprising for the fact that this used to be a barn!). The price was very affordable and we will likely return but next time with an awareness of the limited kitchen supplies. The description told us there was not a full kitchen but we were still surprised by no kitchen sink, next to no dishes (including only one coffee mug) and older, somewhat dirty appliances. We were grateful for full a size refrigerator and a working gas grill and made the best of our “glamping” experience."
