「Parking is easy, right across the small intersection in the Detroit Opera House garage. About $35 compared to $50 valet for hotel. Hotel is tall and thin- very unique and intimate experience. Charming designs and decor. Coffee bar that serves goodies was closing upon our arrival (hours are around 6am to 4pm). Very small lounge- again, intimate, serving alcohol- no candy, lol (called the Candy Bar). Dark and cozy, very friendly staff all around. Check in was super easy and quick and they answer...

"I checked in at 8 pm.Room is dirty with someone’s hair on the desk and room is filled with someone else’s perfume smell. Toilet still have paper in it. The room card’s demagnetize frequently. I have to go to front desk to reactivate again and again. Happened to have my door card deactivated unfortunately around 1am while getting some ice. No one’s at the reception and no staff is around. Waited there till around 3:15am when the reception lady returned from somewhere. Definitely terrible experience."
