"We’ve been coming here since 2018, but unfortunately, this year will be our last visit. As many other guests have noted, there has been a steady decline in both service and quality over the years.
We’re from Boston and are accustomed to paying high prices, but the value here simply isn’t there anymore. Prices continue to rise while the quality of the food remains mediocre at best. Service is consistently slow, and almost everything seems to take far longer than it should.
One of the biggest disappointments is the lack of seating around the pools. There used to be plenty of loungers available, but many have been replaced by “premium” loungers that now require an additional fee. There are also not enough umbrellas anywhere on the property—whether at the beach, pools, or water parks—making it difficult to find shade.
The artificial sand leaves a white residue on your skin, which is unpleasant. Another amenity that has disappeared is the complimentary boat ride to the private island, which was once a fun and memorable activity for guests. It seems that while prices continue to increase, amenities and services continue to be reduced or eliminated.
Adding to the frustration is the daily $82 resort fee, which is then subject to an additional $23 service fee. Charging a service fee on top of an already mandatory resort fee feels excessive and difficult to justify, especially given the ongoing reduction in amenities and overall service levels."
