The room was small but clean, cute and well furnished. The bed and shower are great! The staff is super nice and helpful. I truly enjoyed staying there. It’s really close to piazza Navona (3 min walk) and walking distance to most of the key touristic places. I was 5-7 min from tons of great restaurants and cute little bars, there’s a pharmacy right in front and a carrefour express 2-3 min away. Great experience!

First, please be aware that this is not a hotel but as they self-describe a kind of guest house. There is only a receptionist at the place for a couple of hours in the afternoon to check you in and that is arranged in advance. The rooms are on the third floor (they say second floor but this is misleading. The first floor is actually about 15 stairs from the entrance, so you have to carry your suitcases up to the "first floor" which then takes you to the rooms on the second floor. Getting up and down those stairs was difficult for me with a very heavy suitcase. Be forewarned! Also, you are given keys to the front door and to the gate on the first floor with an emergency number if something goes wrong. I found it unsettling not to have someone at the front desk in case there was an issue. Also, be aware that if you buy the nonrefundable price, even if you buy the protection policy, you will NOT receive a refund. As it happened, I wanted to change hotels to be closer to the airport as I as flying out early the next morning and wanted to cancel with a refund. The hotel refused. I had several emails with Expedia trying to get a refund but no success. The room is very tiny with the bed taking up the entire room; it would have been impossible for 2 people. I was told not to entirely shut the bathroom door and not to lock it. Agan, fine for one person, but not for two. The place was clean and the person who greeted me was helpful, but it was NOT what I expected.

The experience we had here was amazing. They were quick to respond if we had any questions and were very kind and helpful. We are allowed to leave our bags while we continued our sightseeing for the day and that was a great perk. The location was excellent to places that you could walk within a mile or two. I would highly recommend staying here. We will definitely stay here again if we come back.

Very clean room. The best rain shower I’ve ever had. Staff were polite and made arrangements for transportation to the airport. The elevator was broken on the day we left, so had to drag our heavy luggage down the stairs. But it’s understandable in an older building. Overall a positive stay.
