I stayed 3 nights in the executive single. The neighborhood is great. Lots of amenities nearby. The metro is a 8 minute walk (the property is uphill). The building is very nice and secure. There are several “B&B’s” in the building. The check in was easy. And the room was clean. The photos of the hotel make it look much bigger than it is.
There are triple pain, windows that block out most of the outside noise. However, the walls in this place are paper thin. You could hear everything from your neighbors. My room was between two rooms. In the three nights, I was there every room turned over to someone new the next day. The building is old and the doors are heavy wood. As someone else in the reviews mentioned, they really need to upgrade the key system to electronic. Because between the slamming of the doors and the clanking of the heavy keys, it creates a lot of extra noise, especially at night. Two of the nights I had neighbors who came in late and were quite loud. I would suggest a white noise app for a good night sleep.
Although it was noisy, it was a great deal in a very expensive city.
