Great location and a great host.

Antonio is wonderful, the little sheets that he gave us for bus routes turned out to be more helpful than any of our apps or books. He keeps it very clean and has remembered all of the little things that we travellers seem to forget (Did you bring shampoo? Oh, here’s some for us to borrow. Did you bring tweezers? Oh, Antonio has placed some here just in case.) Although the neighborhood isn’t particularly lovely in itself, the location is perfect. A quick walk down to the Vatican, and from there across the Tevere (Tiber), brings you into the historical districts, although you will want to take buses and the metro for the Roman Forum. I will recommend Scriva to my family and friends; it really feels like you are staying with family in Rome.

Antonio een zeer aardige eigenaar! Alles aanwezig van paraplu tot aluminiumfolie. Goed bereik naar de bushalte. Een supermarkt om de hoek, bank, barretjes etc.

The property manager was the sweetest. He made my fiancé and I feel so welcomed and did our laundry for us too. He remembered our names and even offered us the bigger room and was constantly making sure we were comfortable and happy. If you’re a light sleeper bring ear plugs because you can hear the people on the street early in the morning, there’s a grocery store near by so if you’re into saving money this is a good place to stay. We barely heard or saw the other ppl that were staying in the house, also there’s a McDonald’s down the street if you need your American food fix.

Definitely recommended!!! 11/10! You might have read all the positive comments about the good location of House Scriva, its accessibility to the public transportation (bus and metro), market, and other services, but more than that, the house is actually like one's own home. Antonio and his wife are the nicest people on earth. As a host, Antonio always thinks on helping his guests in every possible way; the house is so clean, spacious, and comfortable; and it has everything you need to cook, wash clothes, etc. Our stay in Rome became stressed-free thanks to Antonio!

I recommend this guest house. It was good.

Simply speaking, I recommend this guest house. It is very close to Vatican city. You can be able to Vatican city by your foot easily. I was satisfied with this guest house and its service. Clean and spacious. Also, its kitchen was nice. I cooked every morning and evening. This guest house was managed by a gentleman. He gave me information related to Roma whenever I needed, It was very helpful.

Super gute Unterkunft. Herausragender Gastgeber.

Bereits direkt nach der Buchung bekam ich eine Email von Antonio, in der er mir Hilfe anbot, wie man z.B. am besten, vom Flughafen oder Bahnhof, zu ihm kommen kann. Das Guesthouse hat vier Zimmer. Zwei mit eigenem Badezimmer, zwei mit Gemeinschaftsbad. Wir hatten das gelbe Zimmer, mit eigenem Bad. Es gibt eine gut ausgestattete Küche, in der man sich Essen zubereiten kann. Wir haben dort unseren Kaffee, für das Frühstück, zubereitet. Einkaufen kann man in Supermärkten, in der Nähe. Der Petersdom und eine Reihe anderer Sehenswürdigkeiten, sind fussläufig erreichbar. Antonio ist bei allen Fragen behilflich. Er ist überdurchschnittlich nett. Wir kommen jederzeit gerne wieder. Einzig negativ war, dass spät ankommende Gäste mehrfach laut waren. Dafür kann aber der Gastgeber nichts.

Amazing host & Exceptional accommodations

Exceptional accommodation for a great price. Would highly recommend for couples. The location is close to the Sistine Chapel and Vatican. Supermarket and shops also within walking distance. The rooms are beautiful, very well kept and clean. The quest house has a wonderful host with a very comfortable and calming atmosphere. Everything from the kitchen, bathrooms and the rooms themselves are very well kept and clean. The rooms are very well furnished and has all the necessities. The kitchen has a microwave, stove, fridge, sink and kettle. Antonio, the host, is one of the kindest and most accommodating people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He gave us directions and maps when needed even before we arrived in Rome. Allowed myself and my girlfriend to print documents if necessary. He cleaned the rooms daily if needed and also offered to wash the laundry. He is always ready to assist. One of the best hosts running one of the finest guest houses in Rome. Would absolutely recommend and will definitely be returning when visiting Rome. Had an absolutely amazing time here. 10/10 sturdy bed and great host

Friendliest place to stay

Perfect for people on a budget or if you just don't need a super luxurious place. The owner is the friendliest and most helpful guy. He will provide you with all the information needed for getting around in Rome and do everything to make sure you're comfortable and are having a good time. Definitely choosing his guesthouse again when returning to Rome.

Perfect choice for Rome

I you lie mall family run hotels this is the perfect choice for Rome. Antonio goes out of his way to ensure your stay is perfect, always available by email and the little extras like a bowl of sweets just add to the experience. The room we had was lovely plenty of room with a table and chairs, shared bathroom that was cleaned daily. The kitchen is well equipped and very clean. With two supermarkets nearby you can cook meals or even just make breakfast before heading out for the day. Close to the city bout 20 minute on the bus makes it easy to get around and see all the sights. If we came back to Rome we would definitely return here.

Loved it!

Loved it. So close to Vatican. It's admirable that Antonio takes such a great care for his guests! I will be definitly staying there every time when in Rome and recommend it to a friends. I got way more than I could ask for !

Great Host and Great Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Scriva. The person-in-charge (Antonio) made sure that our stay was comfortable, cleaned the room, and provided complete help with planning for each and every day in the city. He was always available and responsive via social media (WhatsApp) or phone. He was there in-person when needed during our stay. The kitchen was great. It had the fridge, gas stove, and all the utensils we need to cook. It helped a great deal especially since my wife and I are vegetarians. The location was quite close (less than a mile) from the Vatican City, so my wife and I walked there during our stay quite comfortably. The bus stop is less than five minute walk. The only small problem was the road noise. Another small problem was that (although the bathroom was a big size), the shower inside the bathroom was too small and not-so-comfortable. We would again stay at this place in the future without hesitation.

Sciva's Host is the Best

The owner and host of the B&B was gracious and caring -- totally attentive to our needs. He keeps the entire place immaculately clean (which was important to us). He was friendly, respectful and very generous with his time. He took on his role of concierge to the max -- providing maps, directions, and appropriate recommendations. He never made us feel like we were an imposition, though we had many questions. We felt like we had made a new friend and hope our paths will cross again. Thank you, Antonio. We'd welcome you in our home anytime!

Escolhemos o Scriva pelo preço e comentários, mas estávamos receosos. Mas, desde a chegada, só temos elogios. O Antônio é muito gentil e ajuda bastante. A localização, um pouco afastada, proporciona tranquilidade, mas o acesso a tudo é fácil. As instalações são muito limpas e bem cuidadas. O Antônio ajuda com a roupa, o que é ótimo. A cozinha é muito bacana, tomamos café da manhã melhor que nos hotéis, pois há mercados próximos. Restaurante italiano muito bom perto (lá forchetta, ou algo assim). Se puder, escolha o quarto amarelo.
