Excellent host, was very flexible when our plans had unexpected turns. Managing the heat of Rome while staying was a struggle, but no fault of the host’s. Excellent location close to the metro so easy to get to and from the train station (and by extension the airport).

Got locked into the apartment twice. Second time was during our check out and host was not answering phone. Almost missed our train. Unsure why this kept happening, seems like a safety concern as well. Location is decent, close to metro station and walkable to attractions. Decent for a short stay but the lock thing was quite concerning.

We loved our stay. Check in was amazingly easy and the host was warm and welcoming and gave us a lot of excellent selections. If we were to return to rome we would stay again.

Avoid - not recommended. Unfortunately, a frustrating experience from start to finish. This is less of a B&B, and more a few small rooms available for holiday renting. There is no reception. On arrival, there was no one there (you have to contact in advance). I was eventually able to “check in” remotely and gain access to the room. I was asked to pay city tax, which I was naturally ready to pay, but in the absence of a reception I requested an online payment link and receipt. This was first deemed ok, then it wasn’t, by the owner, so in the end I left the cash in the key box. To their credit, I did receive the receipt, but the communication was rude and accusatory. The room itself was basic. I don’t think I’ve ever been in such a perpetually hot room in Italy before (and this was mid/late September, not the middle of July or August). There was one very small window high up and there was no air conditioning. A fan did very little to cool the room. The bed was hard (I even like a firm mattress, but this was too much) and really only suitable for the couple of nights I stayed. The room and en-suite bathroom were clean, although the hallway had a bad smell.

Wir sind mit einem kleinen Baby gereist. Es handelt sich um ein Zimmer in einer alten Kellerwohnung im Souterrain. Leider war die Wohnung sehr laut, vor allem wen andere Mieter sich bewegt haben. Daher ist unser Baby nie zur Ruhe gekommen. Außerdem hat sich meine Frau sehr unsicher gefühlt, die Tür schien in einem schlechten Zustand zu sein. Wir sind direkt nach einer Stunde etwa wieder ausgecheckt. Es wurden keine Anstalten gemacht, uns entgegen zu kommen.
