Hotel durchaus gut und weiterzuempfehlen. Was überhaupt nicht geht: Sowohl bei uns und im Zimmer unserer Freunde gab es am Morgen nie (!!!!) warmes Wasser. Das sollten Sie dringend monieren. Ansonsten ein durchaus brauchbares Hotel in bester Lage!

Friendly staff; basic amenities in room, no tea, coffee facilities in room or iron or even hangers for clothing. Tea/ Coffee machine in lobby beyond lacking. Not value for money paid. Only redeeming feature, 5 mins walk from St Peter’s Square.

Notre séjour n'a pas été très long à Rome mais le peu de temps que nous y avons passé nous laissera un souvenir inoubliable. C'est la ville aux mille places, aux mille fontaines, aux mille Eglises toutes plus belles les unes que les autres. Rome est un musée à elle toute seule et mérite qu'on y retourne pour en apprécier les multiples détours. Un vrai régal. Dommage que les chambres ne soient pas très grandes, les lits pas vraiment confortables et que la propreté laisse à désirer (moutons, poussière) sinon elles font partie d'un cadre superbe avec un personnel à l'accueil aimable, souriant et disponible.

The staff here were most helpful. The general look is great, the position is fantastic. There are however a number of things that could be improved and opportunities apparently missed. The less expensive rooms, certainly, could do with a facelift, both rooms we looked at had greasy marks above the beds where heads had rested although floors were clean, linen was good. There is a lovely cloistered garden but this can only accessed through the restaurant which has limited opening, seeming mostly to concentrate on weddings. If the restaurant was open for lunch and onwards I'm sure there would be plenty of covers.

Servicios basicos a fia de hoy no estan bien

Personal, limpieza y restaurante excelentes. Puedo entender que este anticuado y no haya inversion. No admito falta de cariño, seguro que ni direccion, ni propiedad ha hecho de cliente ni revisado el estado habitaciones. Cosas tan basicas como que la Tv funcione, que la ducha no pierda agua al abrirla o que salga agua caliente y no tebia, ventanas que cierten bien...Esto es basico pero por lo q pagas si quieres tener 4*. Seria necesario poder ver canales internacionales en tv, tener moqueta en estado decente, wc (estan limpiios pero ducha sin telefono, miy anticuado, ) calefactor, mantas y toallas renovadas, mano pintuta, los muebles ( con capa de pintuta y que no se muevan)

Très bien mis à part le fait que l'eau pour la douche 🚿 était tiède, voire froide. Les enfants et ma femme n'ont pas réussi à se doucher. À part cet inconvénient, très bien pour le reste, personnels, locaux, situation, le propreté, qualité du petit déjeuner, insonorisation des chambres.

Una location situata a pochi passi da P.zza S. Pietro la quale ha come fiore all’occhiello la cortesia, disponibilità e gentilezza del personale. Non ci troviamo sicururamente davanti ad una struttura ultramoderna e l’arredo è caratteristico ma comunque funzionale per un weekend Romano. Potrebbero essere migliorati i bagni con Box Doccia. Unica pecca la colazione non compresa ed eventualmente integrabile al prezzo di 15 euro a persona (forse un po’ caro per una colazione) . Potrebbe essere offerta la possibilità di croissant e cappuccino ad un prezzo più contenuto. Risultato comunque consigliatissimo !!!

Affascinante struttura depoca ma mal tenuta

Camera pulita ma arredata con mobili anni 30 malandati infissi che non chiudono bene con eventuale spifferi di aria fredda,condizionatore non funzionante come anche i termosifoni e pultroppo passata una notte al freddo.

Con i difetti enunciati è ancora consigliabile perchè penso ad una disfunzione del riscaldamento momentanea. Se una prenotazione ,tramite un motore di ricerca, non ha compreso la colazione la stessa non può costare al viaggiatore 15 euro a persona......

OTTIMA POSIZIONE A DUE PASSI DA SAN PIETRO

L'hotel è ubicato in una eccellente posizione, proprio accanto a piazza San Pietro (a seconda della camera avrete piena vista della chiesa dalla vostra finestra) e vicino alla fermata del capolinea bus 40 che collega direttamente sia con la stazione termini che con le principali attrazioni turistiche senza cambi. La struttura è ben tenuta ed il personale estremamente cordiale e disponibile; le camere sono ampie e spaziose ma un po' vecchie, ricordano un po' la struttura di un vecchio convento, esteticamente affascinante ma pecca un po' di comodità moderne. In ogni caso le camere hanno minibar, cassaforte e wifi gratuito in tutto l'hotel. In caso di necessità l'hotel ha un parcheggiointerno ad un prezzo forfettario (mi sembra dieci euro al giorno)

Magnifique hôtel proche de la place St Pierre

Agréable séjour en famille dans cet ancien palais, très bien rénové. De très belles parties communes. Les chambres sont spacieuses.

Badezimmer nicht akzeptabel

Auch das Schlafzimmer in einem abgewirtschafteten Zustand. Heizung konnte weder im Badezimmer noch im Schlafraum wegen fehlender Thermostaten bei den kalten Nächten angestellt werden. Das Hotel kann in kleinster Weise weiterempfohlen werden.

well located, friendly staff and willing to help. however the wifi signal is very bad, sometimes it does not work and if the signal works it is weak, even the wifi signal is deficient in the hotel lobby. The other bad thing is that you have to create an account with your email to access the wifi signal. The other bad thing is the breakfast buffet, the selection is poor and little varied, you have no choice of hot dishes only limited to cereal, bread, hard-boiled egg, jams, cakes, coffee, orange juice.

Das besondere Ambiente

Wir waren im Oktober 17 drei Nächte im Hotel Columbus. Es handelt sich um einen ca 500 Jahre alten Palast mit entsprechender Geschichte. Also ein besonderes Ambiente, das das Herz eines Rom Liebhabers höher schlagen lässt. Das Personal ist sehr nett. Unser Zimmer auf der 4. Etage war über einen Aufzug aus dem Jahr 1951 zu erreichen. Es war relativ gross mit angegliedertem Marmorbad, dessen Ausstattung grösstenteils auch aus den 1950er Jahren stammte. Das war nicht problematisch, passte es eigentlich zum Gebäude. Leider liess die Sauberheit zu wünschen übrig und das Wasser wurde nicht richtig warm. Den alten Röhrenfernseher wollte man nach einem anstrengenden Tag ohnehin nicht mehr anschalten. Wir hatten halt nur ein Standardzimmer gebucht. Trotzdem würden wir uns beim nächsten Besuch wieder für das Hotel direkt vor dem Vatikan entscheiden, vielleicht aber ein besseres Zimmer buchen.

Charming Hotel near Saint Peter

This is my second time at this hotel. I love the conviinience off being so close to everything. The charm of this place is it’s history. Needs some updating but it is clean and the staff is nice.
