I would probably not stay here again. Had to share a bathroom with other guests, which in my opinion was not clearly indicated on the site, or I would have avoided it. Floors could have been cleaner in the common area. The shared bathroom was cleaned every day, so that made it a bit better. It was a good location, very close to several restaurants and about a 10 minute walk to both the Metro and the Roma Termini train station, 15 minutes to the Colloseum and 25 to the Trevi fountain.

Stayed here for a few days, everything was clean and the host was very friendly. The room was surprisingly not too hot even though it was scorching outside. There was quite a bit of noise from the street at night, but this is inevitable given the location.

The hostess was kind and helpful. Communicated with her about check in time because no front desk. Have cash for hotel city tax. Great location. She provided a towel for the shared bathroom. However, make sure you have toilet paper and soap. Just in case. Bathroom was easy to use. No Tv but you are in Rome and should not be watching tv anyway. Easy commute by train from airport and then a 12 minute walk from train station. I’m glad I stayed there and would go back for sure. I’m a solo traveler.

Estupenda experiencia

Una experiencia buenísima! Gabriella nos trató genial, muy atenta y simpática. Nosotros lo encontramos todo limpio todos los días y estuvimos cuatro días! La cama cómoda y las almohadas también. Es sencillo y funcional y está super bien comunicado. Para los que buscan un alojamiento económico y sin pretensiones para disfrutar de Roma, me parece una opción ideal.

The Farfalla is definitely a convenient walk to the colosseum and cheaper stay. The owner was also quite nice giving lots of advice. However though everything seems clean might I invite you to take a look under your bed before going to sleep to get and idea of what its actually like. After spending one night in the bed, I woke up to a whole bunch of bug bites on my arms, neck, and even face. We thought maybe a mosquito or allergic reaction until a few days later when we saw and killed a bug on our bed that looked a lot like a bed bug then we also saw one on the wall and were able to take a video. We tried giving the benefit of the doubt but it was likely to be bed bugs and we have posted pictures as well so take it as you will but just remember to be careful. Now we have to go straight to a laundromat when we get home because we don’t want to risk infesting our home the worst part is we wouldn’t have stayed the whole time if we weren’t trying to give the benefit of the doubt when we saw it we couldn’t believe our eyes and it added so much more stress for us. I hope the owner uses this to improve the quality and hygiene of the rooms for future guests.

Não é um hotel, mas uma casa onde a dona aluga quartos. Poderia ser mais confortável. Precisa de uma reforma. O lugar é muito bom, 10 minutos a pé do Coliseu. Tem uma estação de metrô a 5 minutos. Quarto com banheiro compartilhado, o box tem que passar por reforma, pois é minúsculo.
