Location is perfect, AC is cold, and beds were comfortable! If you're American, please note the entry and exit's are not like what you're used to...it will take some adjustments. Overall, this place is great and worth the value.

We loved our stay (2 parents and 3 teenage girls) at the Holiday House! Leonardo at the front desk was so helpful with tips on how to explore Rome, as well as with a package we were expecting. Air conditioning worked perfectly in very hot July. Holiday House is located centrally, an easy walk to the Colosseum, Vatican, Trevi Fountain/Spanish Steps area, and best of all felt safe walking around the neighborhood at night.

Great location close to al major attractions in Rome. Well connected by the bus lines. We got to see the fly over during the Republic day parade and the Giro da Italia final that was just block away from the hotel. There is a huge piazza/square just a minute walk from the hotel with numerous restaurants and shopping. In the evening it comes alive with live music, artists, etc. Rome is quite loud and this place was so quiet, loved it.

A hidden gem! Wow, we were so impressed. I booked this about a week prior to our trip as our Airbnb had cancelled last minute. I was stressed and annoyed, but what a blessing in disguise! The property was clean, rooms were well taken care of and clean. The air conditioning was a great perk as we arrived the week of a heat wave, it was strong and very appreciated. The front reception staff was lovely, he took his time to make us feel welcome and was able to get us an uber back to the airport. Everything was also within a 20 minute walk, which was fantastic. I would absolutely stay here again!

It is in an excellent location and Roberto was very nice. This place is an overpriced rooming house that could use a serious update. The elevator is the size of a phone booth which is about the same size as the bathroom. It is also very noisy at all hours. Lastly, someone took a dump outside the front door the first night and it was never cleaned up.

Location was convenient for walking around Trastevere and Campo De Fiori. Easy access to the Tiber River Festival from Ponte Sisto. Our room was on the top floor. There is an elevator which was helpful with luggage, but stairs were manageable. Our room was spacious for 2 adults and 2 kids. The main room had a table a kitchen area along with 2 beds. Upstairs had the bathroom and another bed. The stairs are somewhat steep when descending but have a railing. Slippers were provided and some toiletries but appeared random (not specific to the number of guests). There was a coffee maker but no coffee pods. The bathroom is small with limited shelving for toiletries in and outside the shower. There is little leg room to sit on the toilet. The bidet was up against the shower so not sure how anyone could use it. Some difficulty with check in due to limited staff on site. Once we reached someone they were very helpful and we had no issue getting settled in our room. A decent place to stay for 2 nights.

Wonderful apartment for our family of 4 in a great location. Plenty of delicious restaurants and cafes within 100m from the door, easy walk to a huge number of sites and attractions. Got a bit noisy outside on Sat night, but we always travel with earplugs anyway :) Would definitely stay again!

The property is cozy but clean and walkable to all the main attractions in Rome, as well as shopping and eating places. The staff is very friendly as well. The area is a little noisy and the property is quite old. But overall we enjoyed our stay.

The location is the reason to book here. No staff on site to assist you, but they were available by phone. Our lock the first night did not work and could not lock our room when we left for dinner. The rooms are extremely small. About the size of college dorm room if at that. But again the location is prime. Bed mattress and bedding was not comfortable and pillow was flat and only one per bed. I would not stay here again. The property was clean and the staff was helpful when present. Just not ideal for us. The same price would have gotten a better place to stay. Lesson learned. Only stayed for 2 days so we made it work. The second day they had to move us because of need for our room for another reservation. They moved our luggage, just annoying and liked the first room better.

Great location! Staff was easy to deal with. We arranged a late check in and clear instructions were left for us to get in. Room is small however I think this is normal for the location. This is not a 5 start but We had no issues with plumbing or hot water as seen in previous google reviews. Bed was a little too firm and we should have brought earplugs. Would recommend to stay here as location is excellent and overall was a good experience, fair price.

First off, the rooms are small and don’t look like the photos at all, at least not our rooms. That being said, if you’re like us and use your room to keep your things, sleep and shower then I would highly recommend this place. Beatrice was very nice and communicative. Our place was next to an amazing plaza with tons of amazing food places to eat and a morning farmer’s market. The chocolate/ Croissant place just outside our place was amazing. Location wise , this place was perfect. In walking distance to the Pantheon, The Vatican, and the Piazza Navona and not far from everything else. We were able to walk everywhere. This is the best part of this place. Overall I would recommend this place if you’re looking to get the best experience while in Rome. FYI- be prepared to pay €5 per person per night for the city tax. This is over and above the room rate usually paid in cash.

We loved our stay at Bollo Apartments. The size of the room was great, We had two young children and having the upstairs and downstairs was very convenient. We didn’t really see many staff- as the hotel is most unstaffed at reception, but we were lucky and were able to drop our luggage off before check-in. There is a very convenient and helpful bag storage shop just around the corner, If you need arrive before you check in, or plan leave Rome after your checkout and don’t know what to do with your bags. The only downside for us was that the children need to be really closely monitored to use the bathroom, It is up the stairs and the staircase is quite unsafe or small feet.
