Small but comfortable

Comfortable place, room was small for 3 people, but if you are out most of the day seeing Rome, it is okay. Friendly helpful staff... good location near Vatican, Piazza Narvona, but can be challenging to get to.. overall positive Service.

I enjoyed my time at this property as it was like a hostel with your own private room. The location was great as it was very close to the Vatican and other sites and good food in walking distance. The staff was great and the host was quick to respond to my written messages. The only issue I had was with the WiFi, which was very spotty and even stopped working at times. They had an extended network that worked best, but that was always reliable either. Other than that, it was a pretty nice stay.

Great location. The building is non-descript and you wouldn’t know it was a hotel. There is no front desk, lobby or even on site staff. Everything was done virtually. Check in worked well despite this. The room was nice, although on the smaller side. The air conditioner was broken and without it the airflow is quite poor. There is only one window and it’s not in the bathroom (which is basically a glass box). This created a bit of a damp smell. The staff are quick to respond but didn’t really have any solutions. Very basic overall. Not what you would expect from a traditional hotel.

Don't Miss This Gem

Damaris from Profumo Maison Pellegrino is an absolute treasure! We received a lovely greeting, complete with luggage storage as we arrived pre-check-in. He was kind enough to move our bags into our room for us. And when a hurricane required us to extend our travel, he was able to work us into another room and help with our luggage transfer. The location of this establishment is perfectly walkable to all of City Center, the Vatican, the time-treasured iconic Roman destinations, and a host of restaurants. It was quiet, despite the frequent sirens racing around the city. The accommodations were comfortable and clean, the window coverings were unique and memorable. We would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

The room was a good size, great bed, very high cleanliness..But it was like living in a cellar because the room was beyond ground level in the end with windows facing the crowded road and pavement running along the Tiber. Besides there was a busstop right outside and a scaffold with working m/f

Our stay at this so-called "hotel" was disappointing. The room was extremely small for three twin beds, leaving hardly any space to move. The beds and mattresses were old and uncomfortable. Despite being advertised as non-smoking; the room had a persistent smell of tobacco. When we raised this with the receptionist, we were told, "nobody smokes here," but there was a strong smell of tobacco that made the atmosphere unbearable. It felt like the odor was trapped inside the room. Our room was on the first floor, with the window facing directly onto the street. This meant we couldn’t open the window at night for fresh air due to both safety concerns and the freezing winter weather. The heating couldn’t be adjusted, and the bathroom light was on a 15-second motion sensor timer, forcing us to move constantly to keep it on—very inconvenient. To top it off, we learned upon arrival that this is not a hotel but a Guesthouse with no permanent receptionist—a fact that should be clearly stated online. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Jättebra område att bo i, så nära till restauranger, många sevärdheter, Vatikanstaten, Trestavere och mycket mer. Boendet i sig var bra, inget fel på rummen. Var dock ganska fuktigt i rummen på grund av AC, fuktigt i sängen och kläderna blev fuktiga. Väldigt lyhört men tog med öronproppar. Väldigt ljust inne i rummet för det var en springa mellan dörren sp ljuset från korridoren lyste in. Fick rulla en handduk och täcka så det skulle bli mörkare. Jättebra och vänlig service.
